RODNEY JONES "HOT ROD" RIDER OF THE YEAR. SEPT-DEC 2013
Hot Rod is forever our rider of the month. He was a good man and made the Motorcycling experience more fun for all that he came into contact with. Hot Rod was born to ride Motors, I met him after he was certified as an Instructor by Midwest Police Motorcycle Training (formerly MSU) and really took his riding ability to the next level with his dedication. I have ridden with Hot Rod in several Police Competitions, and rode shoulder to shoulder with him as a fellow Midwest Police Motor Instructor. I can't say enough how his fun humor mixed with hard work and dedication made him the ultimate Motor Officer. I will miss my brother in blue, and will dedicate my competitions to his spirit, as he made what we do fun at all costs. Rest in peace Hot Rod, I'll be riding the wheels off my motor, keeping the streets safe and squawking that horn and siren in your honor.

Larry telling is most definitely preparing to win some gold in civilian street competitions this year. I don't think his competitors have any idea how hard he's working at it.
